About

I discovered WordPress in 2006, and learned it the hard way, through tedious trial and error. I know firsthand how frustrating and demoralizing it can be to spend hours (or days!) wrestling with technology, or trying to find relevant help online, when you have posts to write or services to promote.

I didn’t know where to turn when I was starting out with WordPress, so I’m very pleased that I can offer support for new users in the same boat. I like to share information, and I love helping people realize their own capabilities.

My philosophy of technology is just like my philosophy on any other labor-saving device: Select the appropriate tool for the job. I’m a big proponent of right-sized technology. Learning to use new tools should not take more time than the tool saves!

Technological advances have expanded our creative, educational and professional opportunities exponentially in a few short years. We are just beginning to realize the potential of being able to connect directly with each other around the world. I’m excited to be a part of that, and I hope you will be too.
